The Story in Your Mind series are astounding experiences from my clients while An Encounter With generally involve things out of this realm!
The last Story in Your Mind I shared was about Angeline going into her past life where she was a very hungry crab!
She had a binge eating issue, and wanted to resolve or remove her urge to eat
Whereas Beatrice had a hypnotic encounter with Original Sin which interestingly enough was causing her aches and pains and illnesses whenever she gets into contact with metaphysics!
Metaphysics was something she wanted to learn and explore, yet she faced many difficulties even just hearing about it
Such unique experiences!
Yet that’s how their minds have constructed their issues within
And for today, we have Jake (names changed to protect identities)
Jake had procrastination and was facing some issues in his business
Things didn’t seem to move at all
So he came to see how hypnosis can resolve his procrastination as well as have a breakthrough in his business growth
Now I want to remind you that each person is unique
So each of you might experience different things for the same technique even with the same issue
And especially since we all have our own Perceptions, Mindsets, And Beliefs
And thus we all have a unique world within us
With our different understandings and perceptions of the world around us
So anyway, once Jake was ready to begin…

We started his hypnosis encounter
Jake found himself in the middle of a forest
There was a trail so he started walking
Soon he came to a clearing where there was a treasure chest
Opening it, he found a sword!
Perplexed, he picked it up and continued walking
This was his first experience with hypnosis (as with most of my clients I suppose)
But still, he definitely wasn’t expecting to come across a creature just a few steps away from the treasure chest!
It was a hydra!
Thankfully it only had 3 heads but will they regrow??
Regardless, Jake rolled and jumped around avoiding the 3 heads that were gashing and attempting to bite him
He made an attempt when one of the heads got close!
And he managed to cut it off with his sword!
He paused, to see if the heads will grow back like in the myths
Fortunately, it didn’t seem to have the regeneration ability so Jake continued and made quick work to defeat the hydra
Jake decided to have a breather and asked me, “McKing, how does this relate to my issue of procrastination?“
“I’ll be honest, I have no idea. However, your unconscious mind chose to show this imagery to you when we did the hypnosis regarding your issues, so there is some relevance, even if we do not understand yet what it means.”
Jake accepted that and decided to continue moving through the forest, until he came to a mountain

There was a trail up the mountain
Jake continued the hike up the mountain since there were no other tracks or paths
Soon, he came to a cave entrance
He wasn’t sure whether he can enter the cave at first
Mainly because it looked dark and he couldn’t see very well into it
Still, there was nothing else unless he wanted to go back down the mountain, or continue climbing up the mountain literally since the trail ends here
Plucking his courage, he entered the cave, with his sword ready and pointing forward
Thankfully, there didn’t seem to be much in the cave
Although it was quite a distance, his eyes got used to the darkness and he saw something
It was another treasure chest!
He opened it and there was a shield inside
Puzzled, he picked it up and equipped it…
Jake wanted to ask me something but he was interrupted by a noise coming from deeper in the cave
There was a huge roar and a blast of fire came spiraling to him!
He quickly got his shield up and the fire blew over his shield!
Some of the fire on the ground lit up the cave
And out stomped a dragon!!
One might not realize but fighting a hydra is far easier than fighting a dragon
Mainly because the 3 heads can interfere with each other, so its easier to dodge and evade when possible
A dragon on the other hand, can move its head as it breathes its fire!
Spreading it around and leaving little chance for a proper avoidance of the attack!
Still, with the experience from earlier, Jake managed to maneuver himself close to strike the dragon a few times
The cave probably helped since the dragon cannot fly easily to take advantage from the skies

Jake managed to defeat the dragon!
And it seems that he came to the end of his hypnosis too
As the images faded away and so, after checking with his unconscious mind that there was nothing else to do, I brought him out of hypnosis
When he first opened his eyes, he was staring blankly into space for a bit
Thinking about the whole experience
Jake looked at me and asked why his hypnosis was like a game
Which is an excellent metaphor to explain how hypnosis might work
I shared with him, that his conscious mind is like the player while his unconscious mind creates the game within
And going through this journey, was an attempt to solving the issues he defined
Finding those items, like the sword and shield, might be resources he need for his business
Even his encounter with the hydra and the dragon
They might be procrastination, and something else he didn’t realize was hindering him
Thus defeating them resolved his issues within
Perhaps his hesitation before entering the cave might be the fear of the unknown, and plucking his courage solved it
He still felt it was bizarre and I won’t deny that hahaha
Still, to his surprise, he did overcome his procrastination and went on to complete his stalled projects in record time
And in case you are wondering why today’s encounter with hypnosis is so short, that is because it was!
Jake’s hypnosis was only 35 minutes!
Remember, everyone is different
Some might have a longer hypnotic experience, while others might be shorter
Although if you want to read more such case studies, do check out the others under “Story in Your Mind” or “An Encounter With”!
Til next time~
