A Simple 3 Step Technique for Fear, Trauma And Anxiety

3 step hypnosis technique for fear, trauma and anxiety

tldr: Here’s a simple 3 step hypnosis technique for fear, trauma and anxiety that is effective for reducing and might also release it completely

Someone posted in a Facebook group the other day regarding a specific traumatic experience he had

He was in a coffeeshop when a horrific incident occurred and it was stuck in his mind

He also shared how he kept seeing it, and how he broke down and cried

I won’t share what exactly happened for his privacy even though he did post it in a public group

Regardless, I decided to share this simple 3 step hypnosis technique for fear, trauma and anxiety with him

Because it can be effective especially since his traumatic experience was recent within a few days

However of course, it can be useful for long term effects as well

And since I shared with him, I decided to share here with you too!

Here’s a video explaining the hypnosis technique for fear, trauma and anxiety

Although if you prefer to read (or if you don’t have Tiktok or if the video doesn’t play), just continue down below for the text instructions

The 3 Step Hypnosis Technique for Fear, Trauma and Anxiety

Now of course, this technique is great for any fear, trauma or anxiety

Especially if you have a particular image in your mind that appears to be stuck

And yes, this is a form of hypnosis even though it is rather mild

So you might still experience some mild hypnotic effect

Or if you are not comfortable with a hypnosis technique, don’t do it

Naturally, as with any hypnosis, ensure you are safe and comfortable and not doing anything like driving or operating any machinery

You could be seated or lying in bed too, no issue either way

Heck, you can do it standing in a bus or a train too!

Anyway, here’s the 3 step technique for fear, trauma and anxiety

  1. Close your eyes and imagine you are in a safe room with a whiteboard in front of you. Make sure you are absolutely safe before you continue.
  2. Bring up the memory or image of the fear, trauma, or anxiety within the whiteboard. It could be a moving image or still picture. Allow it to slow down to a still image and let the colors fade away to black and white, or blue and red for markers on the whiteboard.
  3. Take a whiteboard eraser and start wiping and erasing the image. Take as long as you need, and wipe cleanly to ensure there are no spots or marks left behind. You can imagine having water or cleaning fluid if necessary to remove tough marks. Once the whiteboard is completely clean and free or marks, you can open your eyes and come out of hypnosis.

Yup! That’s it~

Pretty simple right?

Some Additional Notes

I will only add that you got to make sure you are absolutely safe before going into step 2

This is especially if the recurring trauma or memory is particularly traumatic

Also very important if you are assisting someone else in this process

This is because if you don’t ensure they are safe, they might have an abreaction

An abreaction is essentially an intense emotional breakdown or outburst due to the traumatic memory or experience

Worse case, you might retraumatize them!

So if you are not sure, you might want to bring them to seek professional help, like me

Also regarding step 2, you can really take as long as you need to clean away the marks or spots

I also added the option for cleaning fluid or water for the tough marks hahaha

Heck, you can imagine having even stronger cleaning fluid like turpentine, cleaning alcohol… or even… acid?

Anyway, it is completely understandable to do it more than once if the memory or image was pretty intense

However, if you made the whiteboard spotless and clean and yet, there is still some emotional response or recurring imagery

Then perhaps the trauma or memory resides deeper within and thus, seeking professional help might be a better option

Essentially, either the emotions are too intense or strong and require additional techniques to address

Or the traumatic memory is multilayered and thus, requires a different or even a multipronged approach

Remember to save this article so you can come back to this if needed

Or follow me on Tiktok and save the video there

And lastly, share with your loved ones who might need this technique for fear, trauma and anxiety

Take care and stay safe!
